(12,854 posts)I think there was a report that some politician in Nebraska was suing the Big Ten. Good grief, I can tell you it isn't safe. OU played Missouri State this past Saturday. It almost didn't happen because of the number of positive covid tests and contact tracing issues with both teams. There was a question if there would be enough players who did not have a COVID issue to field 2 teams.
The students were thick in campus town and at all of the frat houses no masks, no distancing. I predict in 2 weeks we will be back to online only classes and a ton of people will be quarantined.
No it is not safe, the SEC and ACC seem to be hiding the COVID numbers because they don't want to deal with the alumni and fans who did not attend their university, they are the loudest voices, they are the uneducated voices, they are the Trumpers.
So yes, there were issues.
