Trump filling the seat is all but inevitable. That does not mean we have to accept the unacceptable. Make it crystal clear that we oppose the process and the installation of a justice before the inauguration. Use the hearings to do exactly what you say, pound the narrative and point out the hypocrisy. Make McConnell attempt to explain how it is not hypocrisy to block a justice in one election year but not another. If the rule is the party in power can do whatever the hell they want, make him say that and ask why he didn't just say that in 2016. Expose the fallacy of his new argument that the 2018 Senate elections were the voice of the people which is crap because only 1/3 of the Senate was on the ballot. Citizens of entire states had no say in which party held the majority.

It is unfair that the only option is to scream bloody murder about the unfairness of it all, but silence is worse.
