35. We fight

Pound home that Trump is trying to get rid of ACA and protecting pre existing conditions coverage. Also the impact on civil rights. Those are winning issues. Full effort should be on delaying until after the election.

We can deal with the lame duck session attempt to confirm when we get there if we are successful in stalling and win the election. There are a lot of things we can do.

If we have to do those things pre election it may hurt us in the election- or could help by showing we have a spine. But preferred route is delay for now.

How do we delay? Call Senators, peaceful protest, make solid arguments that impact polling, trade stimulus and budget CR due Oct 1, threaten to block unanimous consent on everything in Senate. And volunteer and donate to Senate candidates.

I also think Biden should visit South Carolina, Montana and Alaska to deliver the message about ACA and boost those Senate candidates. Those might just yield some electoral votes because he showed up. And it would make the Trump campaign freak out.
