She always does on major issues, and few issues are more major than this. She has no spine, no guts, no principles, no compassion, and nearly no chance of being a Senator on January 3rd. Why should she give a damn?

McTurtle can make the difference between her getting a cushy K Street lobbying job and being a tour guide in Bar Harbor next year.
