These people need to be drastically quarantined.

No family, no friends, no employers, nothing but complete social shunning. Some will see the light.
Others will retreat further into the darkness, but the rational world MUST lance this boil.

It will take a lot of time. There will be extreme hardship. The crazies will continue self-infection.
Eventually though social shunning will break the spell of ignorance.

Ignorance is not-knowing.
Those who do not know can be taught.
Ignoring can end, only then can teaching begin.
The ignorant refuse to be taught.

Don't argue, simply say, "you are bat-shit crazy" and walk away.
