21. The fights are on the players

They're supposed to be professionals, and this isn't hockey.

The players and coaches aren't giving these refs any respect. The refs haven't earned much respect, but everyone knows they have little authority. It's like a class with a substitute teacher for a day. The kids do things that they otherwise wouldn't do if the actual teacher was there. They try and get away with even more the usual. Same with the players and coaches in the NFL this year.
