11. I think it's time for a constitutional amendment regarding the SC

I think the role/visibility of the court has changed a great deal in the last 70 years but there has been no constitutional clarification. Maybe there should be a minimum age, an end to for-life appointments, and the size expanded. In 1870 the population was 35 million. In 2020 it is 330 million. While the population is 10 times what it was, I don't think we need 90 SC justices (although it would reduce the significance of each justice). For some reason, the number 21 seems right to me. Small enough to be manageable but big enough that a single replacement should not cause the current political rancor.

I also like a minimum age of 40 and a maximum age of 75. I like a 10 year term on the court with the potential for a 10 year renewal (so 20 year max). And I like for defined nomination/confirmation time frames to be established.

One other thing is that maybe we should require 66% approval in the Senate to prevent extremists. Not sure if this would help or create a roadblock to anyone being confirmed.
