the federal courts, rocket up the docket trail to SCOTUS, who will invalidate it without a doubt.

6-3 hardcore RW is going to erase SO much our heads will spin.

IF Rump steals the POTUS again, and the Rethugs hold the Senate for 2020 and 2022, there is damn good chance it goes to 7-2 hardcore RW (Breyer wants out), plus Thomas might retire and be replaced by a younger model of thug. Do not forget Sotomayor has really bad type-1 chronic diabetes too. In the worst nightmare scenario, we could be reduced to Kagan alone at some point down the road if the wheels ALL fall off.

If (more likely) Biden wins, BUT we do not take back the Senate (less likely if Biden wins), they will NEVER vote on a replacement nominated by him as long as they hold the majority. I will be somewhat surprised if we ever see a SCOTUS nomination confirmed by an opposing party-controlled Senate again. We would be INSANE to confirm another Rethug SCOTUS nominee after the shit the Rethugs have pulled and will now pull.

We have definitely hit a horrific inflection in American history.
