Read the article. What he said was ugly and deserves reprimand, but he did NOT try to stop her from using food stamps for false reasons. It seems it was a computer glitch that originally caused the error, and once proven as such, she was allowed to finish the purchase.

He should be demoted, not fired. Lest he fall victim to poverty. And foodstamps. nt
