And there are parts that are very tough to take, particularly her grandfather's attitude towards his kids, especially towards his eldest son, Mary's father. He was not like Donald, he wasn't a "killer" like the grandfather wanted, he loved being a pilot and had friends. That whole family was painfully dysfunctional, and Mary did a good job analyzing it since she not only grew up with them, but she's also a trained psychologist. I do recommend it though, it's not only well done, but it explains quite a lot.
