(37,182 posts)22. I was thinking about this movie the other day, and I realized why actors love Tarantino.
He gives them room to work. Christopher Waltz was not an internationally known actor before this movie came out, yet Tarantino gave him the entire opening scene that Waltz has to carry.
That kind of trust in actors by directors is rare. Most big time directors work with the same people over and over again. Tarantino finds unknowns or has-been actors (see Travolta) and trusts them to carry his films. Amazing.
