If it seems like an easy victory, the winning side my not bring the numbers either.

I really wish Obama would be more clear:

"We have to move beyond this gridlock. I have tried everything humanly possible to work across the aisle with Republicans. While we expect disagreements in politics, the American people expect leaders to come together with solutions that all can support. In far too many cases that has been impossible with the current make-up of the Republican Party. If they cannot come together in a spirit of compromise and progress, then you must give me a Congress i CAN work with. It is not enough to vote for me. You have to send a message to Congress too."


He can make this pitch down the stretch. I hope he does. It is actually a strong message for Obama. It puts the listener in the frame of mind that the Presidential outcome is not in question and the real decision is what to do about Congress.
