As bad as McCain was, they could at least get behind him for his "straight talk" and his service and his . . . interesting, at the time, choice of running mate (I'm spitballing, obviously).

Romney is blatantly and vocally everything even they're against. If they don't see him as a flip-flopper, they see him as someone with zero direction and a mean message of throwback Bewsh-o-nomics accompanied by war-drumming. RMoney/Boy Galt is not a candidacy of the moderate or the reasoned - this is a candidacy of the Unreachables (Bigots, Dominionist males, Fauxbots and "temporarily embarrassed millionaires&quot and their numbers are fast dwindling.
