yes he is still at risk. If he tests negative on Sunday that is 5 days which is the median point (50% of people report positive or show symptoms by day 5) so that would be a good sign. By Thursday the risk of infection would be very low but not impossible. To know with 100% (well near 100%) confidence will require 15 days.
