Not only is he infected, she is as well. Any movement exposes people because of the close contact required to move from one place to another. Further - you are aware of how many people died from COVID alone, with only a hurse holding facetime or zoom near the face of the patient as they died, since visits were prohibited - generally even when both individuals had the disease.
