It is exactly what he wants, what he needs, what he cries out for.

The 'Golden Rule' is something people cannot avoid obeying. How one treats others is the perfect expression of how one wishes to be treated themselves. It is not only polite, but kind, to treat this man as he requests, especially when it runs counter to one's own inclinations....
