44. I fell down the stairs at my church when I was maybe 7or8? Second floor was for the kids activities

I was already skeptical about the whole church and religion thing anyway, even at 5, but a fear of stairs is a difficult fear. They're hard to avoid completely, ya know? And after nearly 60 years I'm used to dealing with it. But I got it that day on those church stairs, and while I have managed it pretty well, I don't take them at the rate Joe takes them or without my hand firmly holding the rails.
