Appreciate the idea, believe me. But I prefer my President to be well-nourished. He carries a heavy load, and we need him at his best. Nor would I ask his family to engage the experiment, as that would also contribute to the enormous stresses he already carries.

As others have noted, this President already knows the experience of food stamps. He "gets" it. That said, it isn't something I'd want of any sitting president, too much at stake.
