92. OT, but that is so weird.

My Ukrainian grandfather used to tell me I needed white amins. I told him I didn't know what white amins were. He said, "You know. WHITE amins. Dey make you strong, put hair on your chest. WHITE amins." I shook my head. He said, "Dere is all KINDS of White amins. White amin A, White amin D, White amin C" ...."OOOOOH! VITAMINS!"

He looked pissed, "Dat's what I said. White amins." Funny how he DIDN'T pronounce the V considering Ukrainian and Russian are so similar.

Reminds me of French. There isn't an H sound, but they will put an H where it doesn't belong, and not use it where it is present. eg "The HAIR is ott in ere." "My air needs brushing." lol. It's a good thing I have so many French relatives that it's very decipherable to me.
