6. Maybe the "imbalance" is due to the fact that many Fox viewers are unbalanced.

I don't watch Fox, but I suspect that the people who do watch, do so because hearing their viewpoints "reported" by a national "news" organization somehow validates their opinions. Everyone I know who relies on Fox for their news has only heard one side of the issues and they won't accept any other view.
