Trump is a disgusting idiot. If the best that they can do is "he was having fun" then they are as sick and depraved as he is. I have fun by playing board games with my wife and kids or watching a movie. When I joke around, I usually joke about myself and my foibles or if I happen to make fun of a friend, it is typically something pretty innocuous, like I have a friend who likes to shop for clothes and make up so I might tease about that.

I don't "have fun" by falsely engaging in threats against political adversaries. As president Trump has an authority that no other American has. Any halfway decent person would know that they should be very careful in their words. Trump however, has no decency.
