and he is technically correct that it is "his" song, in that he wrote it.

The magic in the performance of that song was due in part to the contributions by brother Tom, Stu Cook on bass and Doug Clifford on Drums. I have wished for about 50 years that he would give credit to his bandmates for the success of this song and others by CCR.
