Unless it was literally his first day on the job, he should know that as a government employee he needs to maintain political neutrality while in uniform.

If it wasn't his first day, he is too stupid to carry a gun and a badge and he is going to get people killed.

If he worked at McDonalds, he would be fired for this. Why do we hold fry cooks to a higher standard than cops?
