38. I live in a totally blue area

... City of Pittsburgh in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. We did turn out for Hillary in 2016 but our numbers weren't high enough to overcome the racism and misogyny in other parts of PA.

We were sad to see that the black voters in Pittsburgh (for whatever reason) did not support Hillary in the same way they supported Obama in 2008 and 2012. It was disheartening, and it was enough to turn the state over to Chump. I'm not saying it was just the black voters, other groups were also to blame including white suburban women, etc.

As proud as I was to vote for Hillary Clinton, I'll never understand how those misguided people chose Chump over her. Some Dems stayed home and didn't vote at all, rather than vote for her. If only ... if only ... IF ONLY!
