"As people do better, they start voting like Republicans - unless they have too much education and vote Democratic, which proves there can be too much of a good thing." ~Karl Rove

Their attack on public education started back in the 80s as they filled positions on Boards of Education across the country with right wingers, while our side was running as fast & as far as they could from the word liberal. The right has been playing the long game & our side has been in reaction mode. I hope this dumpster fire of a mess we're in now has got everyone properly woke. Although I read a few days ago that Biden will consider repub cabinet members? Not sure if the story was current, but really, Biden? Has he learned nothing about the current crop of repubs? I will vote for him no matter what, but this is what I feared, that our side will once again reach across the aisle in an effort to heal the nation. Which will be futile, just like last time, until we address the right wing media machine that spews hate across rural America. Our side has ignored this for 40 years & we still do. The hate's not going away just cuz Trump does.
