43. Sorry but...

I appreciate how much Webb has contributed to veterans but his 4 page article on how women in the military should never be leaders always haunts me when I think of him. In fact, me and 3 other veterans went to his office to meet with him about the issue of military sexual assault and he sent a legislative aid instead who seemed bored and kept checking her watch. Even when Chris Matthews confronted him about the issue just a few years ago he was dodging the question about whether or not he thinks women are now capable to serve as leaders. Because of his stereotypes on women, it reinforced humiliation. I'm glad he is leaving office, Hopefully Tammy Duckworth can be the new face of veterans so we can get some real shit done.
