25. I miss the area, I did 4 years of my active duty USCG time there. I did some work in Humboldt Bay.

My wife's grandfather was USCG and did a stint as a lighthouse keeper on the Delaware River.

I just learned recently that whale watching from shore is worthwhile as the gray mothers and calves come within 100m of shore on their northward migration.
When I was out there, I though "from shore? I'll only see a spout" stupid me.

I have family in Bend, OR. I hear its amazing.
