7. Cordless phones. You can take them all over the house. There are satellites, now.

I have ONE answering machine/main unit with phone in one room. The phone came with several satellites. The satellite phones are just hte same cordless phones EXCEPT they have little bases that just plug into a regular wall socket. You can put them anywhere. They're great!

I have the main unit in one room, a satellite in the den, a satellite in the kitchen, and a satellite in the dog/computer room.

Then there are cell phones.
