(9,721 posts)As I say this it is not meant to be assumed that myself or any of the people I mention are more able to endure any pain or discomfort than anyone else, probably less informed or totally unaware that what was happening was an attack.
Being a heart patient I have the opportunity to meet other heart patients. The amount of guys I talk to, yes mostly men, worked, drove, sat through heart attacks never knowing what was exactly happening to them.
Personally all I had was a nagging pain like a pinched nerve in the BACK of my RIGHT shoulder.
I thought it was something residual from an old injury that popped up because I aggravated it somehow. I did not think it was enough to go to the doctor, I had work to do.
Over the years...all this was around 11 years ago, I met and talked to many heart patients that had similar experiences.
The tv version of heart attacks isnt always the case.
