1. The B1G gave themselves zero wiggle room with their late start schedule.

The Big 12 started sooner and had more built in open dates to allow for re-scheduling.

The B1G should have just said no to football, as should all the schools really.

But money is what drives the athletic programs and football supports the entire slate of sports.
