In 2011, the Romneys had $13,696,951 in income ...., that comes to 13,696,951/365 = $37,526 / day every day of the year.

I was listening to some caller to Thom Hartmann suggest that people just can't get their minds around a number like $13.7 million. But when you express it as a per day rate, even the most 1%-worshipping-goober begins to grasp that Romney's "making" more in a day than he (the goober) is making in a year.

In 2010 the Romneys "made" $21.6 million - that's $59,200/day, 365 days/year.

So anyway, an annual income of $250,000 does seem pretty paltry to Romney -- he made more than that ($263,000) in a week in 2011 ($415,000/week in 2010).
