For bills that are the same each month, set up automatic charges to the credit card.

For the credit card, register on the credit card's web site and pay with a transfer from a checking account. Always pay the credit card statement balance each month.

Don't use a debit card. Don't use a bank's bill pay service to pay from a checking account.
