8. I really like your avitor picture.

During the 60's I used to surf a place in Newport Beach, Southern California, that is called The Wedge. When it is "breaking" (usually about three times every summer), it continually has the largest break that has ever been recorded in the continental USA.

But that was before they closed it off, wrote a law and began arresting people for going out in the water there. There has never been to my knowledge any person who has tried to board surf there, and who has lived to tell it (even short boarders). There are many reasons why, but it is one spot that is really only for body surfers and belly boarders.
