3. Well, I may have been taking some poetic license there

Culpepper is a small community about an hour's drive south of where I grew up, and I would be surprised if the place had more than two assistant dog catchers.

It must be close to 2 AM where you are! Here, it is almost 1 in the afternoon. I was down in Spain yesterday, and have to run over to Holland tomorrow, but those are my only two working trips planned (so far!) this week. My wife is driving down to the Taunus hills tomorrow to spend a couple of days with our daughter and granddaughters. I am contemplating joining them for a day or two later on in the week.

Just to give you an idea of how nuts things are here, the virus is still spreading like mad, and while the USA seems to be trying to catch up, France has more than DOUBLE our infection rate recently. And you won't believe where the biggest number of per capita infections in Europe are. A friend called me to tell me of that dubious honor going this week to his home town--of GENEVA, SWITZERLAND!!! He said, "so much for our reputation as clean, sensible, Alpine paradise!"
