That's the huge mystery for me.

Plenty of people are as fucked up as Trump is, but typically nearly everyone can plainly see what a hot mess they're dealing with, and wouldn't even hire such a person as night manager of a 7/11.

What I want to know is how nearly have the country can tune this out in Trump's case, because his glaring deficiencies, and plain old nastiness, have been obvious to me all along.
