(31,261 posts)95. We need to understand voters in big cities and suburbs.
We should not ignore rural voters, we should make inroads there, but we cant sacrifice the urban and suburban vote to pull in the rurals. I believe that we are fundamentally at a point in America that we are not coming back from, rural voters simply dont see our democratic institutions the way urban and suburban voters do - the question is do we cater to them to bring them along toward a more equitable Union, or do we simply realize that they will throw dynamite at every attempt to move forward as a nation?
