... that John Kelly directs severe criticism at Trump for forbidding his staff to work on the Biden transition.

There's a message here. This is a show of power. Trump had better listen.

But, based upon what we know about Trumpy-Boy, he'll seethe with defiance and will now ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to work with the transition team. No one tells him what to do.

If Kelly is a strategic thinker (McCabe certainly is), then he's working a strategy that's manipulating Trump. And my guess is that he is. A strategic thinker can reasonably predict what a reaction to a message will be. Kelly is manipulating Trump to heighten his rigidity about not working with the transition team. He wants Trump to overreact.

Both McCabe and Kelly know that Trump is vulnerable.

This is like a Shakespearian play.
