a potential shut down. Cases have shot up there recently, from around 1% to 8%. Bars, gymns, and restaurants have been put on limited hours now. Cuomo has called for people to stay home with immediate family only for Thanksgiving. No more than 10 in a house, unless the immediate household already consists of more than ten. Buffalo police are carrying masks with them and handing them out to people when they see someone without one.

All students at state colleges must be tested within 3 days of going home for Thanksgiving and classes will not resume again until January. Any students who test positive will be kept on campus in quarantine. Cuomo has requested private colleges to do the same.

I'm not in Buffalo, but close enough that cases are rising here, too. I have been stocking up when I shop in case of another lockdown.
