The total eligible adult population = 245,800,000
Of that, registered to vote as of Nov 3 = 213,799,467

So the question is: What about the other 32 million?
Numbers help to keep perspective accurate.
Since this past election had the greatest turnout in U.S. history, and since in the last election, almost 100 million didn't vote, this was actually a great improvement in their engagement.
The Knight Foundation has a report on why many might not have voted.
