9. I'd feel sorry for him if he weren't so destructive and malevolent.

But it's probably true that nobody really loves him, and he doesn't love anybody. Malaria seems to be attached to him for her own narcissistic reasons but I don't think she actually loves him. His kids seem to be suffering from advanced cases of Stockholm Syndrome but I can't imagine that they will grieve sincerely when he's gone. And it's abundantly obvious that any love his withered soul is capable of is reserved exclusively for himself. Friends? Only hangers-on and people with mutual interests.

Trump is an empty and pathetic person. He doesn't have friends, people who love him, pets who love him, the enjoyment of anything other than golf (and that only so he can show off his properties and cheat at the game) and television shows that feature him. He doesn't go to concerts or plays or art museums (he has a fake Renoir which he insists is real and which he appreciates only a status symbol); he doesn't enjoy nature; he doesn't read; he doesn't even enjoy excellent cuisine. Even his taste in interior decorating is strictly gold-leafed dictator chic, chosen only for the display of wealth and not for any aesthetic value. Everything he has and does is only for show and is therefore hollow and meaningless. He's living in a Hell of his own creation.
