(36,747 posts)40. Yes I get that. Each state's congressional delegation gets one vote.
But this election also determined the congressional delegations. If the election is not certified it means that not only is there not an outcome in the presidential race, but there is also not an outcome in any of the congressional races. So there would be no congressional delegation for that state. That could favor Democrats.

The results in Georgia are already certified, so that state isn't disputed .
