Back in 2013, Trump wrote on Twitter, "If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts." She attributed it to Albert Einstein.

But after the tweet resurfaced over the weekend, the representative for the theoretical physicist's estate decided to step in on Monday.

"We can confirm that Albert Einstein never said this quote," Greenlight wrote on the Einstein Twitter account. It then suggested a handy read for anyone who may want to quote Einstein in the future: The Ultimate Quotable Einstein.
