DU arguing that discussing (and disagreeing) among ourselves about how to respond to Trump and the Republicans means that we are blaming ourselves blaming the victim by implicitly locating responsibility for the problem on our failure to formulate slogans, policies, and actions that would have won more elections and kept Republicans further away from their goal of a thousand-year theocratic white-power reich. But of course Trump and the Republicans retain responsibility for their crimes even if decent people need to think through tactics and strategies in order to develop an effective response. And its clear that conciliation has not not cooled the right-wing fever swamps or promoted honest compromise instead the Republicans are measurably crazier than ever. Time to make it worthwhile for them to just say no to lunacy, time for them to pay a price for their chaos binge.
