Maybe Dowd is isolated from it, but let me tell you, plenty of us are not. We're in contact with it all the time, and jeez, they never shut up about the chips on their shoulder.

I've heard every point he raised before.

It's not that we're ignorant of the viewpoint.

It's that we've dealt with it for years and understand how insincere it is, how full of shit it is.
