senate against Santorum, there were two issues that really made people angry. First was Santorum blowing off jury duty. Everyone, at some point, gets called for jury duty. No one really wants to do it or worse be picked for a jury, but it's something we all have to do. Every voter related to that and knew they'd never be able to just ignore a jury duty summons. The other thing was Santorum getting tuition-free enrollment in a local cyber school. This was before the charter/cyber charter school boom. Everyone knew they wouldn't be getting a good deal like that.

You'd think this was just minor stuff, but it really resonated with people. It's probably the same with these stock trades.
