First, I would request that the person dealing with me at the moment wear the mask properly. As long as that works with each one, I would be fairly okay with it. Not happy, but the first mark on the side of satisfied.

If that does not work, my voice would get louder. One eyeroll and the doctor gets notified. Any other sort of noncompliant behavior (including not masking properly, rudeness, whatever treatment I don't like), I would let them know that I am reporting it to the county as Delmette suggested and, as Hortensis suggested, the insurance company.

There is absolutely NO excuse for medical personnel in a medical office to be half-assed about safety during a pandemic with more than a quarter million dead, millions more with lifelong serious health issues because of it.

I learned 40 years ago that causing a righteous ruckus and having people look at you is really not such a big deal.
