If he couldn't have gotten away with "I'm beginning to think my first name is 'radical liberal.'" It might have gotten a laugh. Maybe it would have stopped her from doing it.

Obama is a master of using humor against his opponents. Warnock has had at lease one funny commercial. This might have worked for him.
