29. National Presidential Polls = Mental Masturbation

We don't have a national election, we have 50 separate ones. These popularity/beauty pageant numbers are strictly for the talking heads to bump their gums and about and that's what Rachel is doing.

For the past two months the rushpublican clown car demolition derby has gotten non-stop coverage by the corporate media while there's precious little going on with the Democrats...and I think that is by design. The more people see these losers the higher the President's approval ratings go and the better he looks for next year.

Personally I loved it when Mitten's "I like to fire people" gaffe was shown over and over...until now he's been able to avoid getting dirty. That's starting to change.

"News" is what you make it to be...the cables are political...weathervanes. Rachel is a part of that weathervane...
