47. Bob is well known for his support for charitable causes

...he just doesn't make them all public. That's something anyone actually familiar with this artist would know.

some recent (public) charity:

Bob Dylan is to help homeless people in the UK find shelter this Christmas by donating proceeds from his new album to charity. He has pledged to give all of his international royalties from Christmas In The Heart, released on October 12, to the UK charity Crisis and the World Food Programme.

Initial proceeds are expected to pay for 15,000 meals for homeless people in the UK over Christmas, as well as 500,000 meals for schoolchildren in the developing world.

Dylan said: “That the problem of hunger is ultimately solvable means we must each do what we can to help feed those who are suffering and support efforts to find long-term solutions. “I’m honoured to partner with the World Food Programme and Crisis in their fight against hunger and homelessness.”
