(31,296 posts)i'll give an example. NPR ran that story this morning. but they were oh so careful to "put it in context" - after all he was just talking about firing a health insurance company that wasn't doing right by you.
they could have gone SO much deeper in a couple of ways. romney's history of shitcanning jobs as he lined his own pockets. that by the time you know your insurance company is screwing you, you're already in bed with them. that ALL of the insurance companies are screwing pretty much ALL of the people ALL of the time.
i'm frustrated because what NPR did is what passes for news these days. i understand it's nothing new; hell i stopped watching cable news over 10 years ago. rachel was a breath of fresh air. i guess i'm just sad that it's over.
